Valencia, Cagayan de Oro police arrest wanted for rape suspect
Police officers from Valencia town and Cagayan de Oro city arrest a wanted for rape suspect, belated police reports say.
The belated report say that the arrest took place on Dec. 15, 2020 in barangay Genoveva, Valencia, Bohol.
The report identified the suspect as a certain Leo Rosete, 53, a resident of Adela Subdivision, barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City.
The report bared that police officers from Cagayan de Oro coordinated with Valencia police to arrest the suspect who was allegedly hiding in Valencia town.
The police were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Richard Mordeno of Regional Trial Court 10th judicial region branch 22. The warrant was issued on August 22, 2016 for the crime of rape.
The arrested person was temporarily detained at the Valencia police station and subsequently transported to Cagayan de Oro for proper disposition.
