Two (2) linemen of the Bohol Electric Cooperative I (Boheco 1) die after the electric post they were working on fell on its side.
The same report adds that the incident happened on Dec. 30, 2020, at barangay Rizal, Bilar town.
The victims were identified as Ronald Astaca, of barangay Pooc Oriental, Tubigon and Archie Ylaya, of barangay San Antonio, Sagbayan town.
The two (2) men sustained serious injuries, which caused their deaths.
It was, further, learned that based on the initial investigation the two (2) linemen were almost on the top of the post working on an electrical line on a farm in the said barangay in Bilar.
Reports say that the soil of the private road where the electric post stood was newly paved with concrete and was still soft due to the heavy rains.
The two (2) victims were rushed to the nearest hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
