A 53-year-old female from Talibon dies due to Covid, increasing the Covid-related death toll in Bohol to 18.
This was revealed by Dr.Tomas Cesar Lopez, spokesman of the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) in a text message on Dec. 31, 2020.
The spokesman bared that the female Covid positive patient died on Dec. 29, 2020 at the Garcia Memorial Provincial Hospital on Dec. 29, 2020.
Moreover, she died due to severe pneumonia with breathing difficulty caused by a severe asthma attack, Lopez said.
Earlier, a person who turned out to be Covid positive died on Dec. 28, 2020.
It was reported that the person who died due to severe pneumonia and eventually due to Covid 19, is considered as the 17th fatality from Bohol specifically from the town of Candijay.
The fatality from Candijay died at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH), Lopez confirmed to The Bohol Tribune.
