City implements online biz permit application system for 2021

A green light has just been switched on for the online business permitting system that will be implemented this year, 2021, both for those seeking to renew their business licenses or getting a new one.

The business owners are advised to apply online for the renewal or application for new business permits via the city government’s official website: www.tagbilaran.gov.ph, and register an account  by clicking the E-Business Permitting and Licensing Portal.

The business owners need to fill out the necessary information, and a confirmation notice will be sent via the registered email.

As for the payment of fees, the payment instructions will be provided in the confirmation e-mail. The information on the email tells the business owners where to pay the fees, which can also be done online.

An electronic official receipt will be sent to the registered email address after successfully completing the transaction.

A business owner will then wait for 1 to 3 working days for the delivery of the business permit.

Moreover, a business owner can also inquire of the delivery status at 411-22-22 local 777.

This new method of renewal or application of business permits was explained to business stakeholders in Tagbilaran City during the Online Business Forum.

Furthermore, Joel Buena, the programmer from the Information Technology Office of the City Government gave a detailed explanation among the business owners, bookkeepers, and accountants on how to use the system during the said forum.

“We will always be behind the welfare and safety of our business owners. Digital technology has helped us to do so. With these online transactions, the health protocols will be strictly observed without compromising our economy”, City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II emphasized.
