Unidentified assailants kill a man in Antequera town, a police report provided to The Bohol Tribune discloses.
The shooting incident took place on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at barangay Bantolinao, Antequera town, the same report adds.
The report identified the fatality as a certain Lorenzo Paña,55, a resident of the said barangay.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim was driving his motorcycle towards the direction of Dorol bridge, when upon reaching the bridge unidentified assailants were apparently waiting for him and opened fire using a still undetermined caliber firearm.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds on the head that caused his instantaneous death.
Moreover, the police are conducting a follow-up investigation into the murder of the 55-year-old man.
