Boholano cop gets promoted to brigadier general rank

President Duterte promotes Boholano Arcadio Jamora Jr. from the rank of colonel to brigadier general.

In an order dated Jan. 5, 2021, the President included the name of Jamora in the list of colonels promoted to brigadier general.

The order was addressed to Interior and Local Government Sec. Eduardo Año, document provided to The Bohol Tribune.

Brig. Gen. Jamora was born in Tagbilaran, but traces his roots to Jagna town, according to his younger brother Benjie.

Currently, Brig. Gen. Jamora serves as the commandant of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) located in Silang, Cavite.

In a telephone interview, Benjie said the family is elated and proud about Brig. Gen. Jamora’s latest achievement.

Moreover, Benjie is the chief executive officer of B&J Computer Sales & Electronic Services Inc,, one of the top gadget retailers in Bohol.

It can be recalled that Brig, Gen. Jamora used ug to be the chief of ipolice of Tagbilaran City in 2011.

Prior to his assignment to the PNPA, Brig. Gen. Jamora was assigned at the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Northern Luzon.
