Mayor Yap says he is willing to get vaccinated against Covid

Mayor John Geesnell Yap II categorically said that he is willing to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus disease (Covid).

This was his pronouncement during a radio interview on Wednesday. Jan. 13, 2021 over Newsmakers Ug Uban Pa.

His pronouncement comes as the city government has identified AstraZenica as the possible supplier for anti-Covid vaccines that will be procured for Tagbilaranons.

The mayor revealed that all frontliners in the city, including employees of the City Government will be getting the vaccine.

Pre-registration among the senior citizens and the persons with disability who are looking to get free vaccines is underway.

Next week, the mayor said, the pre-registration for residents aged 18 to 59 years old will start.
