Dimiao celebrates 252nd Foundation Day
 The administration of Mayor Randolph Ang bares that the town of Dimiao is celebrating its 252nd Foundation Day.

The town celebrates its foundation day with the theme: “ANGAT DIMIAO bisan pa man COVID-19 KUYAW”

Dimiao is a town with 35 barangays, and located in the third district of Bohol. It is about 36 kilometers away from Bohol’s capital of Tagbilaran City, according to Wikipedia.
This 4th-class municipality was founded on Jan. 22, 1769 and according to the 2015 census, the town has about 14,364 inhabitants.
The town used to cover a large area that included the present-day town of Valencia and the town of Lila, the same Wikipedia entry bared.
The interior part of the town hosts a number of interesting natural attractions such as caves and other tourist sites. 
Moreover, Dimiao is home to the Saint Nicholas Tolentino Parish, church.
