Inabanga relays bulletin of town activities

SUPPORTING LOCAL AGRI SECTOR. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy and Sangguniang Bayan Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 1) together with Municipal Agriculturist Genaro Logroño meet the 42 famers (photos 2 & 3) from Ubujan, Inabanga in two separate batches: January 12 (for the 1st batch)  and Jan. 14, 2021 (for the 2nd batch) at the Inabanga Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall via videoconferencing. The meeting discussed the importance of agriculture in these trying times. It was in this meeting where the local government unit (LGU) of Inabanga expressed its gratitude to the farmers for the continued partnership and pledged its support towards a sustainable agricultural sector. The first batch of beneficiary farmers was given Hybrid Rice Seeds while the second batch received the Inbred Rice Seeds. Barangay Ubujan is one of the top producers of rice in this municipality on account of its fertile rice paddies supported by a robust irrigation system. GETTING ROADS FREE OF OBSTRUCTIONS. As seen in the photo, teamINABANGA led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 1) presides over the meeting of the Road Clearing Operations Technical Working Group (TWG) that took place on January 13, 2021 at the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Session Hall. Present in the meeting were SB Members headed by Vice-Mayor Ronnie Jumamoy, Philippine National Police INaBanga Chief Capt. Cresente Guerra,Sr. Master Sgt. Jose Mitchell Nioda, Municipal Fire Marshall Senior Fire Officer 4 Vicente Jumamoy, Municipal Public Information Officer Frank S. Baylosis Jr., Municipal Engineer Nila Gatab, Market Administrator Jonathan Petalcorin, SB Secretary Gil Cenabre and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Rhea Joy O. Figueroa. The meeting was held in compliance with the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) directives for the continuation and sustainability of road clearing including its assessment on January 18-22, 2021. In the afternoon, the lady mayor (photo 2), the MLGOO (photo 3) and the TWG met with the 30 Punong Barangays (photo 4) at the Inabanga Gym to relay the directives. These barangay chairmen (photo 5) are vital partners for the success of this assessment. Meanwhile, teamINABANGA has been conducting road clearing operations by rehabilitating all its municipal roads including its drainage system and removing obstructions.(Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)
