Tagb extends office hours, deadline for biz permit transactions

Tagbilaran City Government extends its office hours and the deadline for business permits transactions, until February 14, 2021, a report from the City Media Bureau says.

To avoid long queues and overcrowding at the City Hall Atrium, the office hours of the City Government are also extended until 8:30 pm starting January 18 to 20, 2021

As this developed, the City Government extended the deadline of the business permit transactions from January 20 to February 14, 2021. Therefore, the new deadline for the business permit transactions will now be on February 14, 2021.

City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II made the decision to extend the deadline to accommodate the bulk of applicants and avoid the surge of clients at the City Hall Atrium.

“While business permits applications are done online, the payment of fees is still transacted in the City Treasurer’s Office. The extension of office hours and deadline are meant to consider the busy schedules of our clients. We understand the difficulties of our present situation and will even deliver the business permits to the business establishments, once approved”, Yap said.

Furthermore, to ensure the safety of the clients, the City Government partnered with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Pederasyon ng Tagbilaran, City Youth Development Office (CYDO) and City General Services Office (CGSO) for the delivery of approved business permits.

A notification through text or email will be sent to the client regarding the delivery of permits.

For those who wish to claim their permits at the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), they may also do so. For those who want their business permits delivered, just contact 0963-5305918.
