Solon hands new home to Garcia Hernandez couple
Third district representative Kristine Alexie Tutor hands a new home to a couple from Garcia Hernandez town under the solon’s Pabahay Program.
The turnover rites happened on Jan. 22, 2021, according to the information from the office of the third district solon.
The Cristino and Cheryl Galledo of Purok 3, barangay Cayam, Garcia Hernandez town are the latest recipients of a new home under the program.
The Pabahay Program is one of the pet projects of the congresswoman, as revealed by her office.
The project started in Candijay town where the solon’s husband, Christopher, is the mayor. The solon replicated the program that started in Candijay and brought the good news to other towns within the third district of Bohol.
Meanwhile, Tutor said that under the housing program will continue and will give homes to identified beneficiaries.
The building of houses of already identified beneficiaries under the program got stalled due to the pandemic, hence the backlog.
Tutor said that once the backlog is cleared, she and her team will continue their search for new beneficiaries and build new houses for them.
