Also present were Board Member Aldner Damalerio, chairman of the SP Committee on ICT; Dr. Liza Quirog, from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist; and Provincial Budget Officer Peter Retutal.

In the meeting, the governor discussed the concerns of the education and security sectors about the issue of connectivity.

In the same meeting, the governor underscored the need to build new cellsites.

It is widely known by residents that there are areas here where internet connections are slow. Subscribers located in the province often experience dropped calls.

Moreover, Yap thanked the telecommunication companies for their continued and significant rollout of services in Bohol despite the Coronavirus disease challenges.
