Police seize P102,000 worth of suspected drugs following the arrest of two suspected drug personalities.
The drug buy bust operation was conducted on Wednesday night, Feb. 3, 2021, inside a lodge in barangay Laya, Baclayon, by a composite team of police officers from Baclayon and Lila towns, a report from Camp Dagohoy says.
The drug trade suspects are identified by the police as Melvin Montemayor, 48, of barangay Laya and Sherie Tagab, 38, of barangay Tiguis, Lila town.
The suspected drugs with an estimated weight of 15 grams were submitted to the police’s crime laboratory based in Camp Dagohoy for testing and verification.
Moreover, the suspects face charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 following their arrest.
