Police seize a firearm, rounds of ammunition and suspected illegal drugs in a raid conducted in barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City. The raid took place on Feb. 11, 2021, a police report from Camp Dagohoy says.
The police, armed with a search warrant raided the home of a certain Ebson Bonite,22, of purok 3, barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City.
A composite team from the Tagbilaran Police Station, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Intelligence Unit, Bohol Maritime Police and Highway Patrol Group conducted the raid. The authorities were armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Leo Moises Lison of the Regional Trial Court branch 3, dated Feb. 5, 2021.
Reports say that the police seized a caliber .45 pistol, a magazine, and four (4) rounds of live ammunition.
The same reports add that the authorities confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1.6 grams and a street value of P10,880.
The seized alleged drugs were submitted to the Philippine National Police crime laboratory for testing as the suspect faces various charges of violation of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and the Dangerous Drugs Act.
