SUSTAINING INB’S AGRI PROGRAMS. teamINABANGA led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 1) together with Aquamarine Technician Grace Marine of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) spearheads the distribution of food subsidies (photos 2 & 3) to 176 local fishermen (photo 4) at the Inabanga gym. Included in each relief pack are 25 kilos of rice, 2 trays of eggs, 2 dressed chickens and cash worth ₱3,000, which is funded by the Bayanihan To Heal as One for affected beneficiaries. Later on the same day, Mayor Roygie with Municipal Agriculturist Genaro Logroño and Christian Owen Vallejos (photo 5) of Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation Ubay Extension Office distributed the ₱87,546 insurance proceeds to 9 local farmers (photo 6) for their damaged livestocks and agricultural produce. teamINABANGA fully supports the local agricultural sector by providing access to their needs and interventions especially in these trying times for a sustainable supply of local products.
