HELPING INB’S FISHERY SECTOR. teamINABANGA Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 1) leads the distribution of cash assistance to another batch of 33 local fishermen (photo 2) at the Inabanga Gym on February 24, 2021. Each of the beneficiaries received ₱3,000 cash (photo 3) deposited in their respective accounts via remittance centers. Two days after, same group of fishermen each received ₱2,000 worth of grocery items (photo 4) comprising 25 kilos of rice, 2 trays of eggs and 2 dressed chickens. A total of 209 Inabangnon fishermen benefited from this program created through the partnership between teamINABANGA and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and funded by the Bayanihan To Heal As One Act. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy fully supports the local fishery sector (photo 5) by providing them access to their needs and required interventions especially in this challenging time.
