Gov. Arthur Yap bares that he may issue a new executive order (EO) to amend the EO 17.
He bared this in a radio interview over Newsmakers ug Uban Pa hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Gloria Leodivica Araneta on Monday, Mar. 8, 2021.
Yap said that he is meeting with the Bohol mayors and the medical cluster to amend the option in EO 17 where returning residents, tourists, authorized persons outside residents (APOR) and non-APOR may take the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test upon arrival here.
The governor said that the possible amendment is being considered due to a spike in the Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in Bohol, attributed to returning residents.
He may release the result of the meeting before Monday ends, he said during the radio interview.
As of Monday morning, Bohol has currently 149 active cases from 78 cases logged on Friday, based on a report released by the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF).
