Rey Collin Jubac

Rey Collin Jubac: A gentleman whose love for nature knows no bounds

The Earth is coming towards an age where the typhoons are becoming stronger and the temperature hotter.

We are at a point where floods occur in areas where there used to be no floods at all and reports say the ice in the polar ice caps are now melting.

With this scenario, will the coastal cities soon suffer from the degradation?

These doomsday thoughts are inevitable if we continue to neglect our environment.

Good thing that there is a man who is in the forefront of helping the environment through proper septage management.

Rey Collin Jubac is a Boholano whose love for nature knows no bounds.

He manages Coll Builders, a successful construction firm based here in Bohol.

Coll Builders is also the builder and implementor of the facilities of Envirokonsult Equipment and Services Inc. here in Bohol.

He also serves as Envirokonsult’s Business Development Head for Bohol and the firm’s marketing consultant.

As a member of the Envirokonsult family, he has become a spokesman for the company anywhere he goes providing information to the public about proper septage management especially in homes.

He emphasizes that Envirokonsult provides affordable quality services to both residential and commercial customers who are needing desludging services.

Envirokonsult, this man says, is the only licensed and authorized septage management firm in Bohol, following standards set by the government like the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Bohol is faced with a huge problem of water quality and even Gov. Arthur Yap is aware of the situation. In this regard, the man behind Envirokonsult says his company is a ready private sector partner to help solve the water quality woes.

Our featured personality for this week is a product of the BIT-International College. He took up Civil Engineering, aside from going to Cebu Doctors College for a nursing program, thereby taking up Nursing.

He finished his elementary grades at the Cortes Central Elementary School and he took his secondary education at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in barangay Taloto, this city.

Aside from his engagement with the environment, he also was once a nurse paramedic at the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation in Cebu City.

With his background in Nursing, he once worked as a medical representative for Boie Pharmaceuticals.

Lured by politics, he once dabbled in this arena and won as municipal councilor of the town of Cortes.

Let us welcome MR. REY COLLIN JUBAC!
