Buenavista mayor Dave Duallo dons a diving gear as he takes a deep dip into the waters off Balicasag in Panglao town. The mayor, with some officials of the local government unit (LGU) of Buenavista, visited the two tourist areas of Panglao Island: the Balicasag spot and the Isola de Francisco. This took place on Friday, March 19, 2021. The visit is in connection with LGU Buenavista’s benchmarking and learning of best practices . Buenavista is developing its own tourist attraction the Pandao sandbar. Duallo told The Bohol Tribune in a telephone interview yesterday, March 20, 2021, that the goal is to make the said sandbar as the “Maldives of Southeast Asia”. Contributed photo
