Balilihan mayor Pureza Chatto (standing at the middle and facing camera) attends the blessing and Inauguration rites of the Bohol Provincial Plant Nursery  at sitio Campaque, barangay Del Carmen Sur, Balilihan. This project (the center) was materialized through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Balilihan and the Bohol Provincial Government during the time when incumbent 1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto was  Governor of Bohol. The Provincial Plant Nursery occupies an area of  more than one hectare in the 7-hectare property of the LGU.  The property, was bought  by the LGU sometime in 2014 supposedly for a coconut hub of the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA). The site is also the home of the Municipal Plant Nursery, the Municipal Slaughterhouse, and soon, the long- awaited coconut hub of the PCA which will be producing virgin coconut oil (VCO). It will also be in this area where the Coconut Integrated Processing Plant of the Bohol Provincial Government will be situated.
