For this edition of VOX POPULI, The Bohol Tribune is featuring the netizens’ answers and comments to a position maintained by a lady apprehending officer just last week as she imposed curfew protocol in Metro Manila.  The lady insisted that the GRAB “LUGAW” delivery man should be apprehended because according to her “LUGAW” is not found in the list of essential food. The delivery man, on the contrary, kindly refuted that ‘LUGAW” is part of the list called “essential food”. The apprehending officer’s stand went viral gaining the different reactions from netizens. The Bohol Tribune made its own survey regarding the issue and was able to gather different remarks/comments from the netizens.

The question of The Bohol Tribune was:

“Is Lugaw part of the list called essential as it is food?”

These are the netizens’ answers and comments to the question:

Food should be presumed essential.
