The Philippines will continue to issue diplomatic protests for each day suspected Chinese maritime militia ships continue to occupy Philippine waters, particularly Julian Felipe reef.
The Department of Foreign Affairs demands that the Chinese vessels immediately leave the said area and other places within the country’s maritime zones.
Reportedly about 44 Chinese ships are still moored on the area, which China claims as part of its territory.
