About 150k senior citizens in Bohol are next in line to be vaccinated

Around 150,000 senior citizens are the next ones who will be prioritized to receive the anti-Coronavirus disease (Covid) vaccine once the supplies arrive here, according to the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF).

BIATF spokesman Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, said the task force listed at least 150,000 senior citizens all over Bohol who agreed to get the anti-Covid jab.

The BIATF said that the vaccine supplies will be sourced from the Department of Health (DOH).

“Isunod na nato ang atong mga seniors. Nakasumitir ta ug 150,027 ka mga pangan sa DOH ug mao sab ni ang tugbang na mga vaccine nga moabot sa Bohol, doses for 157,000 kapin ka senior citizens,” Lopez said 

Lopez said that once the jabs arrive, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) will rollout the vaccines to the various local government units (LGU). The LGUs, via their respective Rural Health Units (RHU), will administer the vaccines to the intended recipients.
