Panglao LGU locks down 2 brgys.

The local government unit (LGU) of Panglao orders the lockdown of two barangays due to the surge in Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in the province.

In an announcement posted on Facebook on Thursday, April 8, 2021, the local chief executive of LGU Panglao, Mayor Leonila Montero, said barangay Bil-isan will be on lockdown starting April 13, 12:01 a.m. until April 15, 11:59 p.m.

Moreover, barangay Libaong will begin on April 18, 12:01 a.m. until April 20, 11:59 p.m.

The announcement mentioned that the lockdown is due to the “disturbing increase of Covid-19 cases in the Island Province of Bohol and as an added prudent measure.”
