Valencia mayor Ma. Katrina Lim bared that the Coronavirus disease (Covid) health care worker (HCW) tagged by the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) as from Valencia actually lives in Maribojoc town.
She made the clarification in an exclusive interview over NEWSMAKERS on Apr. 13, 2021 hosted by Chandymar Batoy & Dave Albarado.
The mayor said she reviewed the BIATF Covid case map on Apr. 13, 2021, and saw that an HCW from Valencia is listed as a new active Covid case.
However, the mayor said she is unaware about any HCW from her town infected with the said disease.
She sought clarification from BIATF authorities and said that the permanent address of the infected HCW is Valencia but the HCW has been living in Maribojoc.
Moreover, Lim said that she has no problem listing the said infected HCW under Valencia as long as she is informed about the circumstances.
