Mayor Sumaylo tells BWUI to shape up

Dauis mayor Marietta Sumaylo tells the Bohol Water Utilities Inc. (BWUI) to improve its services to the Dauis residents.

She made the statement in an exclusive interview over Open Forum on April 15, 2021, hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado.

She expressed her displeasure to the abrupt water service interruption by BWUI that started to happen a few days ago until this writing.

Moreover, Sumaylo said that the BWUI should inform the people ahead of time so that the residents can prepare for the water service interruption instead of letting them experience the water interruption ahead of the notice.

In the same interview, Sumaylo said that BWUI should have contingency measures in place in order to ensure lesser interruptions in the delivery of water service.

Meanwhile, Dauis town and BWUI have an exclusive bulk water service agreement that will last until 2025.
