Balilihan mayor Pureza Chatto (left) hands the financial assistance to Crispina Merencillo (right), the aunt of the beneficiary, Dinah Marie Ale Chatto. The funds for the assistance come from the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) which is handled by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO). The financial assistance is given to persons who are in need to pay for hospital bills, maintenance medications and even burial expenses. The event took place on Wednesday, April 14, 2020.
