Buenavista mayor Dave Duallo (left, standing) expresses his appreciation to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in implementing the project in his town aimed at  reducing and reversing degradation of watersheds and associated environment services caused by forest denudation and unsustainable farming practices, at the same time provide incentives to local communities, and local government units by generating sufficient and tangible economic benefits within the Danao Watershed of the Wahig-Inabanga River Basin. He delivered a speech during an event attended by officials of the DENR-Central Visayas. The event took place on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
