Total of 29 Covid positive cases in PGSO and PTO says Lopez

Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) spokesman Dr. Tomas Cesar Lopez reports that a total of 29 cases of Coronavirus disease (Covid) detected in Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) and Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO).

He said this during the Friday press conference on April 23, 2021. He revealed that 14 personnel from PGSO and 15 employees from PTO tested positive using rapid antibody test.

Moreover, these people were subjected to polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for confirmation and all of them are now PCR positive and have been isolated, Lopez added.

The information shared by Lopez is in contrast to what Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Anthony Damalerio and PGSO head Glenn Doloritos who said that only 1 person got infected with the virus in the PGSO office, based on the interview conducted by The Bohol Tribune with the 2 provincial government officials.
