Panglao LGU issues new lockdown notice

The local government unit (LGU) of Panglao issues a new lockdown notice, this time involving the entire town.

The notice was posted on social media by the LGU on Friday, Apr. 23, 2021.

The office of Panglao mayor Leonila Montero places the entire town on lockdown status from May 2, 2021, 12:00 a.m. to May 4, 2021, 11:59 p.m. 

The Panglao LGU said that the precautionary measure aims to help curb the ugly increase of Coronavirus disease (Covid) positive cases in the province of Bohol. 

Moreover, the inclusive dates of the lockdown are the dates when several residents are expected to celebrate the Feast of Santa Cruz, the notice concluded.
