Jagna mayor Joseph Rañola (inset) sees the Jagna Baywalk Project as a dream come true, as this project is now getting realized under his administration. He expressed his insights during a radio interview over Open Forum on Thursday, April 22, 2021 hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado. The mayor said that the Baywalk project is meant to put into good use the area near the shore as another tourist attraction and a park where the local residents can stroll. Rañola said the town is capable of doing construction projects after the local government unit was able to procure several heavy equipment. At the same time, Jagna town government has the funds to finance the said project, which include, among others, the installation of solar lights, path walk and the landscaping of the area.
