Fabre: DENR will have its new PENRO-Bohol head soon

Newly-minted Asst. Regional Director Charlie Fabre reveals that the regional office of the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) is still in the process of selecting the new Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) in Bohol following his promotion.

He made the revelation during an interview on April 26, 2021, over Open Forum hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado.

Fabre, who got promoted as asst. regional director for technical services, said the leadership of the DENR Central Visayas is now looking for a capable person to take the helm of PENRO of Bohol.

Fabre said that even if he is in the regional office, he can still be reached for any concerns related to the DENR.

Furthermore, Fabre said he can be a conduit of Boholanos to the local PENRO for any related concerns.

Moreover, Fabre is already in Cebu after leaving Bohol on Saturday, Apr. 24, 2021, to assume his new post.

Fabre assumed the post of PENRO-Bohol back in October, 2018.
