One (1) employee of the Bohol office of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) tested positive for Coronavirus disease (Covid), according to DILG operations officer Mardonio Roxas.
In a text message Tuesday, May 4, 2021, the DILG operations officer told The Bohol Tribune that his office received word about the index case’s test result only on May 1, 2021.
Roxas bared the index case is a female DILG employee who is from Loon town.
The index case last reported for work on Monday, Apr. 26, 2021 after experiencing symptoms related to Covid, Roxas informed The Bohol Tribune.
Moreover, Roxas said that 25 persons identified as close contacts of the index case were subjected to swab tests on Monday afternoon.
