Bohol’s containerized PCR lab is working fine, Dr. Lopez says

Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) spokesman Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez denied that the containerized polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory owned by the Provincial Government of Bohol is busted.

In a text message on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, Lopez said that the PCR lab of the province has no issues.

He said that the PCR lab of the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) is closed for disinfection.

Earlier, GCGMH chief of hospital Dr. Mutya Kismet Macuno confirmed that the PCR lab in her hospital will suspend operations today due to disinfection.

The GCGMH lab is expected to return to normal operations by Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
