Police launches hot pursuit operation vs shooting suspect
Police are conducting a hot pursuit operation against a suspect who allegedly shot his live-in partner inside the provincial motorpool near the Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office in Tagbilaran , reports say.
According to reports, a certain Paulino Gonzaga is now the subject of a hot pursuit operation by the police after he allegedly shot his live-in partner identified as a certain Delia Bernas.
Moreover, reports reveal that the victim is an employee of the Provincial Government assigned at the provincial motorpool.
Bernas, according to reports, was rushed to the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) after reportedly getting shot on the chest by the suspect.
A witness heard a gunshot and saw the suspect flee the crime scene, the same reports bare.
The same witness said that conflict between the couple may be the suspect’s motive in shooting the victim.
Meanwhile, police crime investigators are at the crime scene as of posting time to gather pieces of evidence related to the shooting incident, reports add.
