Bohol starts vaccination rollout for senior citizens, persons with co-morbidities

Bohol has started the rollout of its vaccination drive involving senior citizens as there are also some individuals with co-morbidities already getting the anti-Coronavirus disease (Covid) jabs, according to the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF).

BIATF spokesman and officer-in-charge of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, said that the masterlist of all senior citizens in Bohol has been submitted to the Department of Health (DOH).

Lopez revealed that around 155,845 senior citizens in Bohol are included in the said masterlist submitted to the DOH.

He added that some Bohol towns and even Tagbilaran City, started the vaccination rollout for senior citizens and also included persons with co-morbidities.

The senior citizens are included in the A2 priority list and those with co-morbidities are in the A3 priority list, where they are the ones getting prioritized in the vaccine rollout after the medical frontliners, who are in the A1 priority list.

Meanwhile, Lopez said the vaccine rollout for senior citizens is expected to be completed within 3 months.
