The Philippine Army (PA) based in Bohol via the 47th Infantry Battalion (IB) staged a gift giving activity, dubbed as “Kapwa ko, Sagot ko” in Barangay Dagohoy, Bilar, according to a press release received today, Monday, May 24, 2021.

According to the same press release, the activity was done on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

The said activity was in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol, local government unit (LGU) of Bilar, 62nd Special Action Company of the PA, Philippine National Police (PNP) and other stakeholders.

The press release said that the activity was able to provide food packs, slippers, vegetables, hygiene kits, and free haircut to residents of the said town belonging to about 187 households of barangay Dagohoy.

Moreover, the items given during the activity were donated by the 47IB, PNP, Provincial Government of Bohol and from the private sector.

The “Kapwa ko, Sagot ko” program is reiterating the bayanihan spirit and solidarity amidst the pandemic.

Likewise, the activity aims to encourage people to give what they have for our impoverished countrymen affected by the pandemic.

Barangay Dagohoy is just one of the barangays to benefit from this gift giving activity, the press release said.
