SUSTAINING INB’S AGRI PROGRAMS. Inabanga Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 1) together with Sangguniang Bayan Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 2) and Christian Owen Vallejos (photo 3) of Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation Ubay Extension Office led the distribution of ₱369,072.80 indemnity checks to 58 Inabangnon farmers (photo 4) as insurance proceeds for their damaged crops and livestocks. The distribution of checks took place on May 27, 2021 at barangay Nabuad Covered Court. After the said event, a turnover of ₱3,000 cash assistance to each of the additional 334 registered fishermen in the said town (photo 5) was heldat the Inabanga Gym in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources under its program Cash and Food Subsidy for marginalized farmers and fisherfolks (CFSMFF) funded by the Bayanihan To Heal As One Act. In the coming days, same fishermen will then each receive ₱2,000 worth of grocery items. Witnessing the events are the SB Council headed by Vice-Mayor Ronnie Jumamoy and former Board Member Capt. Jaja Jumamoy (photo 6) as the representative of Governor Art Yap. teamINABANGA fully supports the local agricultural sector by providing access to their needs and interventions for a sustainable supply of local products especially in these trying times.
