Loay mayor Hilario Ayuban (inset)  announces that starting last Friday, May 28, 2021, the town’s public market commenced with its limited operation of several stalls already selling their respective products. The mayor said Building B, hosting the rice, fruit and vegetable vendors and Building C which houses fish vendors was opened to consumers. About 13 stalls in the 2nd floor are also completed. Moreover, Building A and other stalls remain under construction. The P20 million budget for the public market was facilitated by Cong. Kristine Alexie Tutor and an additional P5 million in funds was provided to the town government through the help of Sen. Christopher Go. Contributed photo
