A composite team from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) seized on May 29, 2021, P748,000 worth of suspected shabu following a drug buy bust operation in Maribojoc town, according to a report released on Monday, May 31, 2021.
The same report reveals that the elements of the PDEA and the PNP conducted a buy bust operation at Purok 6, barangay Punta Cruz, Maribojoc town.
The said operation resulted to the arrest of Arnel Tuba-on Rivera, 23, of barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
The report adds that seized from Rivera were five (5) plastic packs and one (1) plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 110 grams worth P748,000.
The PDEA said that cases for the violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
