Panglao mayor monitors storm’s impact on her town

Panglao mayor Leonila Montero personally assessed on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, the impact of tropical storm Dante on her town, according to the information coming from the Municipality of Panglao.

The same information said that the mayor consolidated data coming from the barangays to assess the impact of the storm.

Moreover, Bernard Alturas, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer of Panglao provided a situation report to the mayor regarding the impact of the storm, a report says.

As of Wednesday, June 2, 2021, the Philippines Atmospheric and Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) already lifted storm signal no. 1 over Bohol.

However, the province will still experience light to moderate rains, according to the state weather bureau.
