No typhoon threatens Bohol even as the province is experiencing heavy rains now: PDRRMO chief

The chief of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Anthony Damalerio says there is no report about a typhoon threatening Bohol, and the heavy downpour occuring right now is just part of the heavy rains.

He said in a telephone interview that the heavy rains will persist for one to two hours in parts of Bohol.

Nonetheless, he said that the PDRRMO is monitoring flood prone areas for flooding that may be caused by the heavy rains.
