Town News – Inabanga

PGBh VISITS CUAMING. Gov. Arthur Yap (photo 1) together with teamINABANGA, led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 2) and its town council led by Sangguning Bayan Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 3), visits the island barangay of Cuaming. The visit took place on May 31, 2021. The provincial government is planning to construct a desalination plant in the said island. The governor and other officials also distributed backpacks and school supplies to students of Cuaming Elementary School (photo 4), as ₱500,000 was given to the said school for concreting of the school grounds. Around ₱200,000 of the budget for the school grounds concreting is sourced from the provincial government, ₱150,000 is from teamINABANGA, ₱100,000 comes from Board Member Vierna Mae Boniel-Maglasang and ₱50,000 is from Board Member Frans Garcia. During the event, the governor handed ₱25,000 financial subsidy to Cuaming Barangay Council (photo 5) and ₱2,400 to the Barangay Livestock Aide. Around 910 foodpacks (photo 6) were also given to every family in the island. teamINABANGA also turned over ₱500,000 to the said barangay for the rehabilitation of their barangay stage. Cuaming Punong Barangay Florita Espina, on behalf of the council and its residents (photo 7),  expresses her gratitude to the provincial government and teamINABANGA for the various benefits her barangay received. The event was also attended by former 2nd District Board Members Capt.
