Councilor Amira Alia Montero-Caindec speaks during the conduct of the Theoretical Driving Course under the Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) Serbisyong Malasakit on Wheels program. The event was held on June 9, 2021 at the Panglao Cultural Center. Panglao was the venue of the said program which ended on June 11, 2021. Around 360 persons from Panglao benefited from the free Theoretical Driving Course, which was part of the said program. The course usually costs around P4,500 per applicant. However, Victor Emmanuel Caindec (Regional Director of LTO-7) and Panglao mayor Leonila Montero collaborated efforts to waive the said fee so that the beneficiaries can take the course for free.
