About 135 residents of Tubigon town received on June 11, 2021 benefits from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), according to reports from the Tubigon local government unit (LGU).

According to reports, each beneficiary received P4,040 as wage for 10 days of work rendered in their respective barangays.

Aside from DOLE officials, also present during the distribution of TUPAD benefits were Cong. Edgar Chatto and Tubigon mayor William Jao.

The TUPAD is a program of the DOLE under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program.
