Provincial agriculturist Liza Quirog receives her rank from Armed Forces of the Philippines

Provincial agriculturist Liza Quirog (center) receives her rank from Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff Gen. Quirog was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel of the Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) after she earned her Master in National Security Administration degree from the National Defense College of the Philippines. Aside from being the provincial agriculturist, Quirog also serves as the executive officer of the 702nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion based in Camp Gov. Esteban Bernido at barangay Dao, Tagbilaran City. Last year, the Army Reservists were deployed to man city and municipal streets to help in the implementation of the Coronavirus disease (Covid) protocol. Contributed photo
