A RESULT OF STRONG PARTNERSHIP. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy and Sangguniang Bayan Members Jono Jumamoy (photo 1) and Cesar Bautista together with the head of the Regional Project Coordinating Office (RPCO) of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) Engr. Marcial Agad and his team, Bohol Provincial Planning Development Office staff Engr. Ronilita Bunado and other provincial employees (photo 2), Municipal Engr. Ma. Nila Gatab and main contractor YS Construction represented by Redan Suarez held the Joint Road Inspection/Punch Listing of the ₱125M and 6.941-kilometer Farm-to-Market Road (photo 3) on June 15, 2021. Two days later, the same inspection team (photo 4) conducted an exit conference (photo 5) with Mayor Roygie. They are grateful for the full support and collaboration with teamINABANGA. This Department of Agriculture (DA) project under the PRDP traverses the barangays of Dagnawan, Lomboy, Banahao, Mabuhay, Cawayan and Dagohoy. The road aims to hasten the delivery of local produce from the farms to public markets. The construction of the road was made possible after teamINABANGA proposed the project to the provincial government with the latter counterparting 10% of the project’s budget. The DA contributed 10% of the budget, too. About 80% of the budget for the said road project was sourced from the World Bank. The current administration of Gov. Art Yap was instrumental in the implementation of the road project. (Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)
