Mayor Ma. Katrina Lim
Valencia mayor Ma. Katrina Lim expresses her gratitude for the various awards her town has received, according to a Facebook post.
In a post which appeared on Thursday, June 10, 2021, Lim expressed elation regarding the awards received by Valencia town for the month of May 2021.
“Bisan pa man ug nagsagubang kita og mga problema tungod aning pandemya, malipayon gihapon ta og taman kay aduna kita’y nadawat nga mga awards. Mapasalamaton kita na nakita sa mga nagkalain-laing ahensya og organisasyon ang kakugi sa atong [local government unit] LGU sa paghatag og sakto og tinud-anay na serbisyo sa tanang Valencianhons. Daghan kaajong salamat og Congratulations to us, Valencia!” Lim said in a statement released in the said post.
One of the awards the town received is from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the implementation of the Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS).
