Four persons figured on Sunday, June 20, 2021, in an accident in barangay Mariveles, Dauis, according to the police.
Corporal Salvador Deluca told The Bohol Tribune that he identified one of the victims as Menchu Abrigo, 38, of barangay Tawala, Panglao. She was with her children in the vehicle at the time of the accident. She was the driver of the vehicle which figured in an accident.
Furthermore, Deluca said the 3 minor children are aged 10, 6, and 4 years old.
The police officer mentioned that the victims only sustained minor injuries and were not brought to health care facility.
Deluca said that allegedly Abrigo was using a cellphone while driving and was unable to notice that she was already off course and hit a barrier causing the vehicle to turn belly up.
The police officer said that the victims sustained only minor injuries as they were using safety belts.
