Report says Noynoy Aquino dies

According to a report by the MANILA TIMES, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III has died on Thursday morning, June 24, 2021, based on an account of a senator who requested anonymity as he was not in the position to release an official statement.

The same source said the former president had been under medication for an unspecified illness.

It was earlier reported that Aquino was rushed early Thursday morning to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City.

The source’s account is yet to be fully verified as the family of the former president has requested privacy and there has been no official statement released to the media.
